Free Video Art Lessons - Sponsored by Jerry's Artarama

These days there are many well known and some not so well known artists supplementing their incomes by producing DVD's on various art lessons or videos that you can download for a fee from either a Production Company, YouTube, or their own websites.

In some cases, I can see justification in paying for a DVD or video download for certain techniques every now and then, but before you do that, please check out the 1000+ Free Art lessons that Jerry's Artarama shares with you online on their website completely free.  Yes, that is right, FREE!
There are search Categories to narrow down exactly what you are interested in, such as Search by Artist, Skill Level, Medium, Subject or Private Demos. Art Workshops - Creative Catalyst Productions

I've had the extreme pleasure over the last 6 months to purchase several art workshop videos on DVD. Creative Catalyst Productions, Inc., has something for everyone who is interested in learning or mastering a certain skillset they are trying to achieve when it comes to any specific art instruction. There is a wide variety of videos/DVD's to choose from and you can preview them online at http://www.ccpvideos.com

Once on their website, you can search by skill, by artist and by Media when selecting your choices.

For me as a self-taught artist, it's important to be able to feel as if I am taking part in a one on one instruction when it's convenient for me due to my busy schedule. I like reviewing techniques that I have already been practicing and also to learn new ones.

Not only that but you will have access to art instructions by master artist/teachers at video prices. Prices average about $29.00 to $49.00 and here are some of the options to choose from in terms of media

You can use these links when you are ready to go directly to the videos under each topic
Acrylic · Acrylic Advanced · Acrylic Beginning · Acrylic Intermediate · Collage & Mixed Media · Craft Arts · Design Content · Drawing · Advanced Drawing · Beginning Drawing · Intermediate Drawing · Oil · Pastel · Colored Pencil · Watercolor

These art instruction videos & DVDs are a great resource in addition to collecting art instruction books and magazines.
